The school agers have been very interested in building ramps. They have been challenging themselves with adding height, length, and different surfaces to explore what would happen. They have also been testing their theories with many objects in our room, for example, wheels, logs, and cars. We set up a ramp area with a long piece of paper and wooden blocks. The children ended up using the piece of paper to mark where their car landed from the wooden ramp and to predict where it would land next!
