The children are building relationships and connecting with each other more and more everyday. The climber has continued to be one of the main attractions in our room where their connections are being made. What does using the climber all together look like?
We have noticed when the children go down the slide they will clap their hands and exclaim “YAY!” The other children around will also clap and say "yay!" This seems to invite more children up the climber and down the slide. We wonder what makes the climber so special for the children.
Sometimes when the climber gets crowded we use simple words and phrases with the children. We have been hearing lots of these words from the children such as, “beep beep”, “my turn”, “wait” “down”, “up”, and of course, “YAY!”
