As part of our ongoing professional development for educators at Schoolhouse Playcare Centre, we have been conducting monthly network meetings for our School aged programs.
Educators who work with these older children meet at either our St Martin school location or our St James school location for team building and learning opportunities. Some of our topics this term include introducing the 'Tribes' learning environment (creating a community of healthy development for all children), reviewing the 'On My Way' document for middle aged children created by the Ministry of Community and social services, the Heart and Sole of communication supported by Children's Centre Thunder Bay.
