We have been adding open ended materials and loose parts to our environment and to our art shelf to support and encourage the creativity in our room! The children have been adding nature items from the outdoor playground to bring indoors to create with as well. We recently added additional items like these rocks which the children have used in creative ways. Several children have turned the rocks into food items like fruit and pizza, and thoughts of Halloween were also represented in their paintings!
