December - Wrapping game on Family Celebration day
This month, we hosted our Christmas Themed Family Celebration. One of the activities the children came up with to play with their families was “Build your own Human Snowman” using toilet paper and other accessories. We divided children and parents into teams, and gave them the supplies needed. Each team had to choose one member to be their designated snowman who was going to be wrapped in the toilet paper. Once everyone was set and we explained the rules, we gave them a set amount of time. The atmosphere was playful and fun as we could tell the bonds between parents and children were strengthening. This activity also encouraged creativity and imagination as everyone tried to build the best snowman. Everyone was included in the game which fostered a great sense of community and togetherness in the room. It was amazing to see the joy on all the families faces as the challenge went along.
