While exploring various theories on the movement
of water, the children connect the tubes to funnels, and set up the space to
create their “waterfall". Watching as they fill up the funnel, the children
would comment “it’s going down!” “it’s like a drain”, and anticipate the water
coming out the other end. When the water eventually would start pouring out the
tube on the other end, it created LOTS of excitement, “It’s a waterfall”.
