A new development in our digger exploration has been the children sitting on top of them! Today we observed them sitting on the diggers and then using their feet to propel themselves forward and their hands to operate the scoop! Are they replaying the construction vehicles they have seen outside? Are they playing out the role of ‘construction worker? Is this a new level of social play that they are testing out? So many possibilities!
