One afternoon, the
children came up with the idea to put on a “THE MUSIC CONCERT”. They built a stage
and a sitting area for an audience using the blocks and chairs. They walked
on stage confidently holding the “microphone” and “guitars” like
‘ROCKSTARS’. They took turns singing on the stage either in groups or
individually. The children also used background music to help them sing along
with the lyrics. It was an amazing experience to watch them sing, dance and
express themselves creatively with big smiles on their faces. I am looking
forward to seeing more music and movement activities in the concerts in our
kindergarten program.
