The Making of instruments using recyclable materials was a creative idea that involved using resources in the environment and loads of hot glue! The realistic guitar made by TW was inspiring to others as she designs it to look incredibly real. AG finds a stick and taps the bells, while IW puts together a snare type instrument. KB and MB make drum set complete with symbols “it kinda sounds dingy” says MB. The team of children take turns gluing the pieces together and sharing them with one another. Soon the children gather together creating a band and playing their instruments on their makeshift stage. They sing and play cooperatively showing pride and enthusiasm and that’s the making of “The Band.”
