Dramatic play and role playing has been observed in the Junior School Age program, and it changes quickly. Assigned roles and planning the play are involved. The children reference what they know about their world and bring it to life through their play and expand with their limitless imagination. Based on the children’s interest’s new materials are added to the environment. Dramatic play that began as a Bakery has evolved into a store, later to Chloe creating a Chinese Menu.
Chloe, “look Cindy, it’s a Chinese menu”. Chloe is showing pride and accomplishment in her work.
