Over the span of a week, we had the children help us with adding some new decor to our room! We began with water gun painting onto 5 large canvases with blue, pink, purple, and yellow. The children also came up with some great phrases, reflecting on what they believe daycare is all about! N.A. shouted nice and loud “love is love”, J.D. said “daycare rocks!”, and everyone else helped with “be kind”, “believe in yourself”, and “everybody matters”. They were so engaged with Liz’s stencil maker, giving them a hands-on opportunity to make their ideas come to life. We now have 5 beautiful art pieces to lay out across our school age room and are very excited for these to be daily beneficial reminders for everyone
