Some of our children have been showing an interest in cars. One morning, a couple of our older children (JD, CR, and KB) created a race track/ramp using blocks and plastic tracks. They lined up the cars using only the ones that fit on the track and pushed them down the track. They kept a record of which ones went the furthest and which ones did not go very far. After running all the cars down the ramp, they did a second run to double check their findings. They found that the smaller the car, the further it went and the larger the car, the shorter distance it went.
