After many years in our Grey Street location we have finally moved into the new school in Thunder Bay - Ecole Elsie MacGill Public School.
Good Bye Grey Street location...
1997 to 2020!
Many years of amazing memories!! Thank you to all the families, educators and others who were part of this chapter in the Schoolhouse Playcare Centre 'story'.
We moved into our Grey Street location after leaving Drew Street School due to their closure. Grey Street was directly across from Mother Theresa Catholic School and we were excited to continue our relationship with the school community. That school unfortunately closed, but, years later Pinewood Court Long Term Care was built and we had developed an inter-generational program with the residents. Many wonderful visits occurred overtime.
Our next chapter is the opening of our new location at Ecole Elsie MacGill Public School and the return of being located within a school environment for this site. A lot of hard work by a community of people brought us to this new beginning.
We are open as of Monday, August 31, 2020 at Ecole Elsie MacGill Public School. See you there!
