Over the last several days the children have been exploring the trains and the train tracks.A natural assumption that could be made is that the focus of interest could be on the trains themselves; but, if you take a moment to reflect, there is a much deeper level to the learning that is happening.
The trains and tracks are actually the media being used to explore:
Movement (Cause and Effect)Social Interactions and Problem Solving
Schema Learning:Attaching/Connecting and Taking them Apart
Language Spatial Relations (up/down, top/bottom, through)
