As the children transition into Toddler-hood, we have been observing how their awareness in regards to social cues and interactions with each other are developing! "V" noticed "L" had lost her sock; once "V" found it, she picked it up and was waving it around with a concerned expression on her face. To prompt this interaction, one of the educators asked “V, can you help L?” Both girls sat on the floor next to each other. As "V" got the sock ready, "L" held her foot out for the sock to be put on. What a wonderful example of caring and concern, and how children are capable of helping each other!
