Staffing
The Schoolhouse Playcare Centre, in accordance with the Day Nurseries Act, is staffed by qualified Early Childhood Educators, with additional training in First Aid and CPR. The Early Childhood programme is a two-year diploma programme at the College level. In the two-year programme, Child Development is studied, through 0 to Adolescence. The staff/child ratio is complemented by trained Early Childhold Education Students who assist in such areas as creative art, music, drama and various other learning experiences provided in an Early Childhold Education environment.
