Our Programmes
The Schoolhouse Playcare Centre is committed to inclusive child care. Within our programmes, observations of the children are completed regularly. One of our goals in the programme is to intervene during the critical years of development. By observing and using the Disc Preschool Screen, we are able to identify and develop specific goals and objectives that will be implemented into our curriculum outline.
The development screening instrument is designed to identify the child's needs that could affect their potential in learning and it identifies children who are in need of further developmental diagnostic assessments.
