Programme Development

Programmes are re-evaluated regularly to reflect changes in the Day Nurseries Act and to reflect current ideologies in Early Childhood Education. Workshops are offered for both staff and parents to review programme content.

At regular intervals throughout the year, a newsletter is distributed to parent(s)/guardian(s) telling of these workshops. The newsletter will also bring to the attention of parents topics and events of interest, as well as current day care news.

Parent(s)/Guardian(s) are invited to utilize the newsletter as a means of communication and programme ideas to other parents and to the Director.

In developing programmes, it is the Centre's philosophy to consider each child as an individual and to provide a programme to meet his/her individual strengths and abilities.
