Holidays and Sick Leave
The Schoolhouse Playcare Centre observes the Lakehead Board of Education's School Year Calendar, including the following holidays:
- Christmas Break
- Labour Day
- Thanksgiving
- March Break
- Good Friday
- Easter Monday
- Victoria Day
Child Care is provided on all P. A. Days. If you require full day service on P. A. Days and are not already registered, please let the Director or Head Educator know at least two weeks before P. A. Day. Unfortunately, we cannot return payment for children who are away due to illness or holiday, etc., as a space is being provided for your child. If your child will be away from the Playcare Centre due to illness, holiday, etc., please let the Director or Head Educator know as soon as possible.
