School Age Program

January 2015

This month the children have been interested in learning how far our money goes. The children have been talking a lot about what they can buy and what is considered "a lot" of money. We decided as a group to learn about the workforce and how we make money and where our money goes. To start, we filled out resumes and will then have an interview process where each child will get a chance to see what it is like to be in an interview. From there we will budget and use flyers to see how far each pay cheque will go. We are excited to see what we can purchase!

The children have also been practicing there mini stick hockey skills as they are preparing for a fun mini stick tournament with our sister site St. Martins. The school-age children have been helping the kindergarten children to learn new skills and stick handling.
