Loose parts in our Environments:

Representational play

“let’s be teenagers, I ll be 18 and you be 19” Alex says as they are standing by the loose part shelf, Anthony grabs a VHS and says “here are our cell phones” Alex and Anthony sat on the carpet, Alex starts to punch in the numbers on the cell phones and calling people.Rubbing it to his face “its to fuzzy I can’t hear you” he says, Anthony showed Alex his new app that calls people by using his voice not having to punch in numbers.

Alex says “lets play candy crush”

The power of loose parts and play creates an endless possibly of how learning happens.
